ISC D2 Escape Descender

ISC’s D2 is the original and innovative ‘double-stop’ Escape Descender, designed to ensure maximum safety and control during descent. Its unique double-stop function features a sweet spot for easily controlled descent speed, with auto-lock mechanisms on either side to prevent mishaps. If the user lets go or pulls the handle too hard, the device automatically stops, offering a crucial ‘panic-stop’ feature. The handle-operated cam stops the descent in panic situations, ensuring the user’s safety.

Compact and lightweight, the D2 can be easily carried on a harness. Its cam feed feature allows smooth rope feeding without using the handle, perfect for bail-out operations, and it can back-feed the rope for smooth ascending or emergency hauling in a 2:1 ‘Z-rig’ setup.

The D2 Personal Escape kit is supplied with 8mm PER Nylon rope.
