ISC D5 Work/Rescue Descender

ISC’s D5 Descender is a cutting-edge double-stop device engineered for enhanced safety and ease of use. Featuring an auto-lock function that activates whenever the handle is released, along with a panic brake designed for optimal sensitivity during normal use, the D5 ensures reliable control in any situation.

Equipped with a double safety locking mechanism, the D5 prevents side plate rotation when loaded, providing an added layer of security. Its seamless attachment/detachment from the rope, without the need to disconnect from the operator’s harness, eliminates the risk of accidental dropping, enhancing user confidence and safety.

With its user-friendly design, the D5 allows for effortless back-feeding of the rope, making it ideal for smooth ascending or emergency hauling in a 2:1 ‘Z-rig’ setup.
