Certified to AS/NZS 1337.1 Safety Standards
The entire LTD Eyewear range carries AS/NZS 1337.1 certification and undergoes rigorous laboratory testing to meet Australia and New Zealand’s strict safety requirements for medium-impact eyewear.
Frames and lenses are tested using calibrated steel ballistics at high velocities to simulate real-world hazards, ensuring they can withstand blunt force impacts without shattering or causing injury. Optical clarity, coverage, scratch resistance, and penetration resistance are all carefully assessed.
Each model is sent to accredited testing facilities and must pass multiple impact trials, durability checks, and field-of-vision tests before certification is approved.
UV400 Protection You Can Trust
LTD’s impact-rated eyewear meets the highest UV protection standards in Australia and New Zealand. Every lens is independently tested to block 100% of UVA and UVB rays up to 400 nanometres, protecting your eyes from prolonged sun exposure.
Using advanced spectrophotometer testing, laboratories measure how much ultraviolet radiation passes through each lens. To achieve UV400 compliance under AS/NZS 1067.1:2016, lenses must also meet strict criteria for tint accuracy, optical clarity, and protective coatings.
